Large-format porcelain is unforgiving: a floor that is out by two millimetres shows on every joint. We level first and set second.
Most bad tile jobs are not bad tiling — they are bad preparation. A slab that has never been checked with a straightedge, an underlayment skipped to save a day, no levelling clips on a 24×48 tile. The tile then telegraphs every one of those decisions for the next twenty years.
We install porcelain and ceramic in any format, luxury vinyl plank, engineered and solid hardwood, and stair treads. Substrate prep, levelling and transitions are part of the price, not an extra.
